Congratulations to Sam Ekong, Jason Woodworth, and Dr. Christoph Borst for receiving the Best Research Demo award from the IEEE Virtual Reality 2017 conference awards committee. The demo presented research on the incorporation of both live and prerecorded teacher imagery into immersive VR field trips. This was a 3-day demo at the main academic virtual reality conference.

IEEE Virtual Reality (VR) is the premier international conference and exhibition on virtual reality and this year it was held in Los Angeles, California.
